Adam et Eve
ADAM ET EVE is a subsidiary of the Beate Uhse Group, named after its founder. A true pioneer of sexual liberation, Beate Uhse opened the world’s first sex shop. Her advocacy helped change attitudes towards sexuality, encouraging women to speak openly about their needs and desires and helping to break down taboos surrounding female sexuality.
Today, the company is Germany’s largest retailer of erotic products, operating in four countries: Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. In 2023, drawing on Adam & Eve’s expertise in sex toys, the company launched its own brand dedicated to women’s empowerment: LIBERTÉ.
