There’s no doubt about it, back-to-school season is well and truly here: the temperature has dropped a few degrees, the rain has dampened the pavement, and our friends’ stories (and perhaps our own) have showcased the kids’ best outfits for the first day of term. At the same time, diaries have filled up, as have the media schedules. All that remains of August are memories of sea spray, a slight tan on our skin and, in the rear-view mirror, the lingering excitement of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Whilst some cast a nostalgic glance back at the summer holidays, others see September as a time for (new) beginnings.

The year begins NOW; it’s a chance to take stock, renew our resolutions, and use our renewed energy to fulfil (small and) big dreams. It’s a chance to rediscover the power of routines – those little habits that make everyday life more manageable and allow us to refocus on what really matters. Yasmina Madafi, co-founder of La Nouvelle Agence and mum to two children, shares her own routines in this LinkedIn post, to help you get back into the swing of things.

Hoping that this breath of fresh air will spark your creativity and determination, we wish you a pleasant and gentle return to a daily life that may be a little less exciting, but which promises some lovely surprises.

La Conversation is (always) a boost of inspiration, a shot of knowledge to support your communication efforts and energise your creative process. Or simply to give you a breather during your day!

A personal reflection by Yasmina Madafi, director and co-founder of La Nouvelle Agence.

This summer, Paris pulsed to the rhythm of the Olympic Games, a global event that embodies the spirit of pushing oneself to the limit, of fraternity and of celebrating human excellence. However, what we will also remember about these Olympic Games is not just the quest for medals, but the moments of shared joy and togetherness surrounding a victory or a performance.
Media professionals – whether journalists, presenters or content creators – play a key role in spreading this joy by capturing and conveying these moments of collective emotion.
